Role
People and Programmes are dedicated to delivering excellent customer service within their Workforce Analytics team, and to this end are seeking to hire Senior Consultants, with ideally some prior experience in workforce, or as a minimum data analysis. The role of the Senior Consultant will be to provide a full, comprehensive “customer-centric” service, to successfully meet the analysis requirements of their clients. As such the Senior Consultant will work with their professional service departments and the client core business lines, to deliver analysis for the benefit of the client.
The principal responsibility of the Senior Consultant, will be to own the client relationships, building strong client stakeholder engagement, and delivering high quality (data) analysis solutions and services to them. This is a highly customer facing role, that will involve flexibility to travel (to customer site).
As a Senior Consultant your main responsibilities will involve:
- Engaging, and building strong customer relationships, gaining their trust, through sharing of knowledge and provision of best practice guidance, and advice in relation to their data.
- Undertaking requirements elicitation and gathering.
- Conducting initial reviews and inspections of their data to determine quality, and in collaboration with your team, interpret the data developing recommendations based on findings, providing the client with understanding and insights into their data
- Identifying client needs, recommending how and what they should do in order to improve their utilisation, quality and analysis of data
- Acting as an analytics expert, with end-to-end knowledge of the data analysis process including segmentation, data modelling, forecasting and predictive analysis requirements
- Running projects, to deliver custom solutions if required, and to this end, owning and delivering all project-related plans and associated documentation, and be confident to implement the full project lifecycle from start to finish (if necessary)
- Maintaining accountability for the data analysis, its quality, and or all associated products or services delivered to the client.
- Identifying wider client business problems, as they impact on their data, and recommending resolutions
Owning the responsibility for determining (in consultation with the data scientists, and your wider team), most suitable forms of analysis to be performed on the data - You’ll be required to be ‘hands-on’, proactive, and to be able to think “outside-of-the-box” where needed, to deliver business value to the client
- You will be expected to be able to work independently on client’s sites, acting as the company’s face and point of contact for all company, and data/project-related issues, and queries
- Proactively ensuring that your personal knowledge and understanding of workforce analysis is kept current so as to be able to capitalise on, and provide full understanding of new opportunities and best practice.
- Understanding business requirements, needs and frustrations and proactively shape deliverables to meet those needs.
Requirements
Essential. To be considered you must demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of ‘A ‘Levels, degree or equivalent
- Either min of 1-2 years, or solid experience of having delivered 1 or 2 highly customer-facing, data analyses projects ideally within the Professional, or financial services sector
- You must have high levels of numeracy
- Prior experience in delivering transformation projects to a structured method or process.
- Good (verbal and written) communication, including presentation skills
- Flexibility to travel, and to work independently at client site
Desirable
- Experience working with any of the following technologies: Qlikview, Tableau, OrgPlus, COGNOS, SPSS or other statistical packages desireable for analyzing large complex datasets

Project Manager
BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER, (BPM) - LOGISTICS (FMCG)
Project Managers are required to join the business development team (BPM) to deliver projects across the Business at all our clients UK sites. The BPM will be working primarily on projects centred on MHE automation (cranes and conveyors) and optimally moving products/assets around the Warehouse.
The Project Manager will manage the full project lifecycle from initial scoping, creating business cases and justifications through to board approval, manage 3rd parties, design, test and implementation through to completion of the project. Other projects will consist of design and delivery of solutions related to increasing capacity, range or productivity across all aspects of the business.
As a Business Project Manager, your key internal customers will be many and diverse across the business, and may include any department that a project is involved in, such as Operations; Flow Forum; CFC Ops; Engineering; Site Services Team; Food Tech; Resource Planning; Legal; Layout Team or others. External customers may include contractors, vendors or other external parties or commercial stakeholders who are engaged on a particular project. Key responsibilities and focus points for BPM's are Design, Requirements Definition, Project Justification, Programme Management, Communication, Change Management, Testing, Implementation and Rollout.
The ideal candidate will have a good university degree, with strong project management and solution design and delivery skills. A keen interest in Logistics or Engineering, with experience of projects in manufacturing, automotive, airports, distribution or similar would be advantageous. Candidates from the MHE Automation Industry may be particularly relevant.
You will be bright and numerate with an ability to understand and analyse data flows within our business. You will need a particular aptitude for design and analysis, and end to end project management and possess excellent communication skills at all levels. Robotics Engineer/Developer - Robotics Research
ROBOTICS ENGINEER/DEVELOPER - ROBOTICS RESEARCH
A Robotics Engineer/Developer is needed to join a robotics research team working on pre-production systems using recent research results and state of the art technology. We are looking for a software engineer to work on the research, design and development of novel sensor-guided robotic systems in order to enhance already highly automated product delivery systems.
The role will entail implementing sensor-guided robotics solutions to specific automation problems, taking an active role in the choice of technologies and techniques used; performing mathematical modelling and algorithm development to achieve real-time sensor-guided robot motions; and developing software that implements novel and sophisticated solutions to specific robotic applications; as well as documenting theoretical developments and their software implementation.
You'll have an exceptional record of academic achievement ideally including a PhD in a relevant area or track record of your ability to perform novel work in a cutting edge environment on challenging projects. We're also looking for strong 3D mathematical skills and experience of using them in the development of software in relevant domains, in particular robot motion planning, geometric modelling and meshing algorithms.
